About Kukuchic Limited

Introduction

Kukuchic Limited is a private company incorporated in Kenya in 2013. The company is the breeder and distributor of Rainbow Rooster and Kuroiler (improved kienyeji) birds in East Africa. We have three breeder farms and a hatchery.

Currently our main focus is on Rainbow Rooster birds. This is a dual purpose suitable for rural farmers. We have more than 30,000 parent stock of Rainbow Rooster. Our Hatchery is duly licensed by the Director of Veterinary Services under the provisions of The Animal Diseases (Hatcheries) Rules, 1985. The hatchery capacity is 120,000 chicks per week. The long term objective is to ensure maximum utilization of the hatchery capacity. Current utilization is around 25%
